The Vagabond Players

Presents

Little Shop of Horrors

The gleefully twisted, out of this world cult classic hit musical!

Meek and mild flower shop assistant Seymour Krelborn has stumbled across a peculiar new plant species, which he names after his stunning but vulnerable crush, Audrey. The plant, Audrey Two, has plans that are far greater than Seymour can imagine as it grows into a bad-tempered, foul-mouthed carnivore who offers fame, fortune, the girl he loves, and an escape from skid row in exchange for feeding its growing appetite for BLOOD. Mixing Motown, B-movies, and The American Dream, Little Shop of Horrors spawned the 1986 film starring Steve Martin and Rick Moranis and has continued to delight audiences for more than three decades.

The fine cast is led by Ryan Waechter as Seymour Krelborn, the downtrodden shop assistant, and Annie Arbuckle as Audrey, the pretty co-worker that he adores. Ross Friesen takes the role of Mr. Mushnik, the cranky owner of the run-down flower shop, and Thomas Lamont plays Orin Scrivello, Audrey's abusive boyfriend. Regi Nevada provides the voice of Audrey Two and the cast is rounded out by Carly June Friesen, Janelle Reid and Tiana Swan as Crystal, Ronnette, and Chiffon, the trio of 1960s street urchins who set the scene. Vagabond Players are thrilled to be presenting this vibrant musical in 2017, which is the 35th anniversary of the opening of the show and this great new production will have an all new, custom-built set of puppets to bring Audrey Two to life. Directed by Matthew Davenport with musical direction by Julie Atchison and choreography by Damon Bradley Jang, Little Shop of Horrors is a treat not to be missed.

This was a really engaging piece about Little Shop of Horrors and how productions like this continue to bring energy, humour, and creativity to community theatre while reimagining a classic musical for modern audiences. I like how it highlights the blend of comedy, dark themes, and strong performances, which makes the story both entertaining and thought-provoking for audiences of all ages. It also shows how theatre productions depend on teamwork between actors, directors, designers, and production crews to bring everything together successfully on stage. This strongly connects to Help With Statistics Assignment, as analysing audience response, performance impact, and production success can involve interpreting feedback, trends, and structured data to better understand outcomes and improve future creative projects.

Came across a Canadian casino discussion late in the evening while reading through how people actually decide which gaming clubs are worth sticking with long term. What stood out was the calm, practical tone across the thread. Instead of hype or exaggerated jackpot stories, users focused on usability details like navigation consistency, cashier clarity, and whether the interface stays readable during longer mobile sessions. A few comments mentioned that overly busy layouts with constant banners and animations can quickly become tiring, while simpler structures feel more reliable over time. In the middle of the discussion, SlotBox Casino was referenced casually while players compared different gaming environments across Canada known for steadier user experience. The mention blended naturally into the conversation…
