Synopsis
Convicted for poisoning her husband, Caroline Crale dies in gaol, but leaves a letter expressing her innocence. Fifteen years later, her daughter, Carla, receives the letter and persuades those present on the day of her father’s death to return to the scene of the crime. Caught between the suspicions of her fiancé and a growing attraction towards the lawyer who is helping her in her quest to prove her mother’s innocence, Carla finds personal challenges of her own along the way. Suspects, secrets, and suspense abound in this classic whodunit from the Queen of Crime.
