Opening Night Jack and Ruth Tisdale celebrate their 25th
wedding anniversary at the theatre. It's a dream come true for Ruth and an
imposition for Jack who would rather be watching the World Series. Meanwhile,
backstage the director Richard has to deal with the actors, the wannabes, the
has-beens, and his girlfriend who in the midst of it all wants to talk about
“their relationship”. After the events both on and off the stage, the lives of
all involved are irreparably altered.
Pat McDermott as Jack Tisdale
Pat has been a very busy boy lately doing plays all over, including at Metro playing the part of Oscar in Oscar and Felix and at White Rock in the role of Renfield in The Passion of Dracula. He is happy to be back home, as the Vagabond Players have always felt that way to him. Thanks to Dwayne for allowing Pat to do what he loves and the cast for all the fun and hard work they have put into this production. Linda, as always “I love you." Have fun.

Debbie would like to thank Alan and Graylen for supporting her in yet another endeavour. And as always, she dedicates her work to Joey, Dad, and Bill.

Ken Fynn as Michael Craig
Ken is thrilled to be on stage at Vagabond’s once again. The show is for the audience, but the pre-show journey belongs to the actors. Ken is honored to make this journey with good friends in this cast, both old and new. Thanks to Dwayne for putting a good time together for his actors. Many thanks to all those at Vagabond’s who make all this possible. Ken sends his love to wife Holly for the love, patience and support given all these years.

Last season he played Sancho Panza in Night of The Foolish Moon, and Richard in Moon Over Buffalo. Both sets were built by him, as well as those for Excalibur and Iolanthe for the Fraser Valley Gilbert and Sullivan Society. Richard hopes to continue his theatrical endeavours for years to come.

Some of his previous shows include Bathroom Humor, I'll Be Back Before Midnight, Southern Time and Will You Still Love Me In The Morning?
******************************************************************************************** Bobbie Charette as Libby Husniak
Bobbie Charette has spent most of her life on stage performing a variety of roles including Marlene in Dinner with an Idiot and Hermia in A Midsummer Night’s Dream. After her high school years, which were spent either on stage or at theatre classes, Bobbie was accepted into UBC’s theatre program where she was fortunate to have been taught by Professor Peter Loeffler. When she’s not on stage you will usually find Bobbie either making some article of clothing in the wings, snowboarding on the local hills, or catching live music in darkened bars and loving it.

Chris Walters as Tom Delaney
Chris was born and raised in England and moved to Vancouver in 2005. He got involved in acting with his school in his last year in England and was thrilled to discover the acting opportunities Vancouver offered. Chris is very excited to be making his debut performance at the Bernie Legge Theatre after Dwayne was kind enough to invite him to be a part of this production. He has recently appeared at the Metro Theatre in Noises Off, Wedding of the Year and A Murder Is Announced. Rehearsing the show has been a lot of fun and Chris hopes the audience has a great night / afternoon (if you’re here at the matinee)! |
