When the villagers of Ho Hum decide to raise money for orphans by putting on a production of Cinderella, the road to stardom becomes an obstacle course. But with the help of Max, the Ho Hum Husky, and some enterprising angels, the cast and crew overcome every crisis, from temperamental computerized lighting systems and a hopelessly miscast Fairy Godmother, to a fiendish cat who is determined that the mouse chorus won't make it to closing night. But when success finally comes, the end result is far more magical than any of the players envisioned. Elwoodettes Marionettes, formed in 1992 by Hugh and Elizabeth Elwood, is a regular showcase for Vagabond Players performers. This year the show features the voice talents of Elizabeth Elwood, Dwayne Campbell, Bethan Lewis, Isabel Mendenhall, Deborah Tom, Brian Leonard, Barbara Blom and Mike Scannell.
